soo i haven't posted in about 10 months, and even that post wasn't much to write home about. the past.. i guess 18 months have been crazy insane intense exciting sad happy ups downs lefts rights and many more. i moved to brooklyn from manhattan earlier this year. its a great apartment but in a not so fun area. there is absolutely nothing to do in this spot. it was nice to be able to sit on the steps of my old apartment and play guitar, or walk to a nearby bar, or anything, but i find myself keeping myself trapped inside these walls. it has been one big roller coaster ride though. initially, one of my best friends moved back to kentucky. everyday i want him to come back to complete this little rock group i front. (those who know me know I say that very tongue-in-cheek). summer of 06 was spent being 21 in NYC. not alot of music was happening to be honest. we were writing with our newest bass player (who is no longer in the band now though) and when we did write, it turned out great. Summer came to an end and I got to experience the NY i knew i would love. cool air, jackets, scarfs, gloves, coffee, wine at the local bar with my sister and friends. I was spending my days with my head full of thoughts and my physical self with a very special girl who I love. We broke up in December. Prior to that, we re-met JC, whom we met a year before at a party after our CMJ show in ny. the line-up was complete, finally. we wrote and wrote and wrote and finally returned to kentucky for a show in december and it was great. the new year rolled around and my mom was becoming increasingly ill. I also enrolled in college and took some rad classes. I found myself going to kentucky often to be with mom. the band slowed down with our schedules and me being gone. my spring break was coming in the beginning of april and mom was not doing well at all so I skipped the last week of class before spring break and went to ky. the doctors had been saying she only had a few days and my spring break went till around the 10th of april. she surprised everyone and hung in there. I ended up coming back to NY so not miss too much class and on april 14th I went out for dinner with sugar cube and at midnight it was my 22nd birthday. I woke up in the morning and had a missed call from dad. I called him and he wished me a happy birthday and said I should start driving in, that mom was only breathing every 10-15 seconds or so and they knew it would be today. I went back to my apartment, got up devin, and packed a quick bag and we left the city. as we left the lincoln tunnel dad called me and when I looked at my phone and saw it was him, i inhaled and answered. she had passed. so I drove for what seemed like forever and got to my house in new castle around 3 or 4 am I think. the air was cold that night because I could see my breath when I stepped out of my car. I looked up and the sky was full of stars. I made my way inside and it was quiet, everyone was asleep. I couldn't sleep very well and the last I remembered looking at the clock was around 6 am. My nephew jackson came and jumped on me at about 9 am to wake me up. I got up and showered and got dressed and went to the funeral home for visition. the funeral service was the next day. after it was all said and done I came back to NY, finished my semester, and summer started. summer mostly included recording and being in kentucky. I came back, got a job, and now here I am. we are going to record all of our new material and I am uber excited. and then... we'll see.
the end. it'll probably be a good year again before i update this thing.

so christmas is a few days away. its gonna be different this year. alot of the family is not coming in now. its just gonna be me, one of my sisters and her husband and my little nephew jackson, and my mom and dad and grandmother. we will wake up christmas morning and exchange gifts, watch jackson get spoiled, have lunch, and the weather man said there is no chance in hell for snow, so it will be a green day outside, boring as fuck. movie theatres will be open that evening b/c people like to goto movies on christmas. i dont think i will even feel like doing that. next christmas will be different as well. i work, i come home, i click on all the links on my hotbar on my browser, atleast 10 times each in the course of about 2 hours, talk to whoever IM's me, sit in bed and play the acoustic, read like a page of this book, watch conan, goto sleep, and do it all again. haven't had band practice in ages b/c everyone works to damn much and i have so many songs i want to finish b/c i'll either do that or serve in a restraunt the rest of my life because i wont be good at anything else and would not do so well in college.
this is like my 4th attempt at an update because the past 3 i've re-read them and just closed the browser.

the highlight of yesterday was discovering that my prediction that there would be a techno remix to listen to your heart, was accurate. i was delivering pizza and switched to djx, and there it was, ump ch ump ch ump ch ump ch (bad techno description, say outloud if confused)

alright here is the deal
tuesday night @ uncle pleasants, 18 + show @ 7 pm. im guessing somewhere around the 5 to 7 dollar mark. i dont really like doing shows that aren't all ages, but it wasn't up to us, so sorry to anyone that isn't old enough. then, the next night, @ headliners, we will be playing with spitalfield, squarewell, and my finest hour. show starts @ 7:30, we hit the stage @ 8, its 8 bucks admission (eek). even though its a school night the show wont go late, we will be done by 8:30 ish!!
then
september 4th we are playing rock the water tower which is @ the corner of zorn and river road. apparently this is a big thing even though i'd never heard of it before. i think we play around 2 in the heat of the afternoon.
then, september 10th, we play @ twice told. this will be our last show in this area for awhile because we are heading up the coast on the 14th into october. so come out and say hi and stuff. we have new merch for the healdiners show, and by rock the water tower or twice told, should have hoodies and underwear and bumper stickers and things of the like.

my parents are finally pushing me to try to sell my blazer because its just sitting in our yard in a non-populated area that no one see's it so anyway
its a 1998 white 4-door blazer.
power 4x4
power everything, leather, cd player, cassete, tow hitch, etc etc.
its got 136,000 miles on it.
i cant think of any other specs off the top of my head.
it runs great, since east 146 got a 15 passenger van, we havent needed it to to pull a trailer or anything, so i bought a jetta. thats why im selling it. feel free to come test drive or anything.
firm on asking price of 4900. bluebuck has it @ almost 6 grand i believe. Only physical damage is scratches on hood from a barbwire accident
email me @ myfallout@gmail.com
i can get some pictures up if need be.

"In a posting on the message board of Chevelle's Web site, former bassist Joe Loeffler tore his bandmate brothers a new one and refuted the group's assertion that his departure was self-imposed. According to Joe, his bros — drummer Sam and singer/guitarist Pete — gave him the boot. "This is exactly what I expected from them. Try and make it look like I didn't want to be in the band. I was fired, plain and simple; in fact, there wasn't even a discussion about it — they just dropped it on me," he wrote. "I made no decision and am not taking a break. I will be working on getting a new job immediately. A break also means there's a chance to come back, and nothing could be farther from reality. I was fired and they have not said a word to me since. I would never ask to be back in." Epic Records, the band's label, would not comment on Joe's allegation."
